Police and Safety

In the case of an emergency, call 911.

To report a school safety concern online, use the Anonymous Safety Report Form.

If you see something, say something. If you witness something suspicious or concerning, including reports of weapons, threats, violence, or attacks on campus, immediately alert a staff member, campus police officer, or use the online Anonymous Safety Report Form.

The Hallettsville Safety and Security Team are dedicated to the safety and security of our students, staff, and all visitors to our campuses. We are continually updating our learning, training, and working with our community to make our schools a better and safer place to learn and work.

HISD has develped an Emergency Operations Plan in order to prepare for any emergency situations including: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Shelter, and Evacuation.

Our schools utilize Parent Square to notify parents about any specific crisis situation for a specific campus or the district as a whole. If there is a need for student/parent reunification during a particular incident, instructions will be sent by Parent Square. Parents should always make sure their child’s school has up-to-date and current information including phone number and email to ensure they receive any relevant notifications.
